Description: You text a photograph to a Recappit phone number; the service replies within that conversation with one or two questions about your photo and a link to your written story. The Story Desk is conversational and reply-only: it sends no messages to any number that has not first texted it, and no recurring, scheduled, or marketing messages.
Varies by conversation; typically two to four messages per story you request.
Message and data rates may apply per your mobile carrier's plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Text DELETE at any time to erase the photos, messages, and stories the Story Desk holds for you. It is done at once, and the desk replies to confirm.
If you belong to a paper (for example, a family newspaper), texts about that paper — including a notice when a new edition is published, if you choose to get your paper by text — are part of our Text Messaging Program, not the Story Desk. Photos you file to a paper belong to that paper; reply SCRAP to pull your latest, or ask its editor to remove anything else.
